CHICHI

In the Mayan language, chichí means grandmother.

But in the hearts of the people, it means much more.

  • 1 CAMA KING
  • 33 M2
  • 2 PEOPLE

If the goddess Ixchel bestowed art, it was the grandmother who turned it into a living tradition; in her lap we learned that time is not measured in hours, but in shared stories.

It is the gentle voice that corrects, the hand that guides with patience, and the gaze that teaches without imposing.

But Chichí is not the only one who transmits knowledge.

It's the warm hug when the heart needs it, the aroma of freshly cooked food, the advice spoken in a low voice, and the long afternoons where time seems to stand still.

In her presence, generations unite, stories are repeated, and memory is strengthened, because Grandma not only taught embroidery, she taught love and belonging.

Without her, there would be no huipil. There would be no embroidery. There would be no memory.

Our Chichí room is a tribute to that silent, comforting presence, an intimate and warm space where rest feels like coming home.

Here, luxury is not ostentation, it is closeness, heritage, and memory.

Because the soul of Yucatán is not only worked on and embroidered. It is also embraced.
