FACES
Faces tell stories without words. They hold the memory, origin, and heritage of a people.
Before the roads, there were the faces that gave identity and soul to our people. In every gaze remains the trace of those who came before, of an identity that was built over time and that still lives in the land we inhabit.
The origin of our people dates back to the earliest accounts of the world, a time before the sky and stars existed. A Mayan legend tells that the creator gods, in their wisdom, sought to give life to beings who could honor the earth and understand its knowledge.
The gods tried to create man from clay and wood, but it was from corn that the true human being was finally born: strong, conscious and grateful to the earth.
ROSTROS is a memory of that beginning.
Humans learned to see before they learned to speak. In that gesture, the people were born, and in that face, belonging.
This is our tribute to the image of a people. Here, rest returns to its origins; this room is called FACES because it honors those who never left, a luxury that transports you to a place where history is heard without anyone telling it. Whoever sleeps in this space becomes part of a story.
My face is not just mine,
